Overview

Service rafts are suspended, continuous modules built to integrate essential M&E services while allowing easy access for maintenance.

Most commonly used in public areas within travel hubs, service rafts provide essential services throughout the building or concourse.  The continuous modules provide a robust and durable housing for numerous services including:

  • Lighting
  • Security Cameras / Speakers / Monitors
  • Signage
  • Sprinklers / Smoke Detectors
  • Air management systems

Summary

Service rafts provide a functional, durable, hard wearing and practical solution to service accessibility. They can be designed to link to other building elements, with the benefits of being prefabricated off site.


 

Access

Access panels allow unrestricted access where needed, whilst maintaining security provision.


 

System Weight

Service rafts will vary in weight, depending on specification and project requirements. Modules incorporating lighting and other electrical services will have significantly higher loads.
