Rising above the City of London, 8 Bishopsgate is a landmark commercial tower. Designed to conform to the London View Management Framework, its iconic stepped profile overlooks the ever‑evolving city skyline. Within the building, Proskauer Rose LLP has established its new London headquarters, marking a significant step in the firm’s UK and European expansion. The move reinforces the brands global presence in one of the world’s leading financial centres.
Designed by TP Bennett, the office fit‑out reflects Proskauer’s focus on innovation, performance and long‑term sustainability. The design brief centred on creating a refined, client-ready workplace that supports both focused legal work and collaboration. A dedicated client suite forms a key part of the layout, alongside meeting spaces and open‑plan work areas designed to encourage connection and flexibility. Daylight, views and material quality play a defining role, with the interior palette carefully considered to balance warmth with professionalism.
In the reception area, our SAS200 hook-on panels are finished in a sublimated polished-plaster tone that enhances the surrounding materials. The soft sheen complements the space, while the concealed grid minimises visible joints, resulting in an uninterrupted look throughout.
“The client initially asked whether real Armourcoat polished plaster could be applied to the ceiling to match the walls. As far as we knew, that had never been done, and Armourcoat agreed it wasn’t a viable method.
So, we approached our sublimation specialist to see whether they could replicate the finish as a sublimated pattern. Their standard options were a long way off what the client needed, but rather than walk away, they saw the potential and wanted it as an addition to their range. They committed to developing a completely new pattern to meet the brief.”

Beyond the reception, breakout areas contain SAS330 lay-in ceiling finished in RAL1035 (Pearl Beige) with our D5149 perforation. Together, the soft metallic finish and larger perforation create a bright, calming environment that encourages staff to slow down, regroup, and recharge. Complete with a bespoke curved perimeter trim, the SAS330 tiles mirrors the subtle golden outline bellow.
Within the office spaces, SAS330 lay-in was selected for its acoustic performance and design versatility. With perforated tiles and acoustic pads, it delivers high sound absorption, helping to reduce reverberation so conversations stay clear. The versatility of this system is showcased through its ability to seamlessly integrate third‑party lighting and key M&E services.
Throughout the building, the selected systems provide an ideal blend of aesthetics, acoustic control, and practicality, creating a coherent and functional finish.
