Having undergone a major redevelopment and modernisation, the busy underground station had been expanded in order to integrate with the new Elizabeth Line.
To cater to this the project introduced an enlarged station ticket hall, providing three new entrances with increased capacity, and installing additional escalators and new lifts for step-free access to all platforms.
SAS International designed, manufactured and installed bespoke metal baffles to the Tottenham Court Road station entrance, ticket hall and escalators.
A variety of vitreous enamel product was also installed to multiple areas including passageways, stairways and escalator barrels.
